It are indeed the IDs that where missing. 80861229 matches eepro100 in the discover data. ( http://cvs.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/?cvsroot=pkg-discover discover1-data the file pci.lst ) The eepro100 module is in kernel/linux-kernel-di/modules/i386/nic-extra-modules of the debian-installer CVS module, also at alioth. IIRC the nic-etra-modules floppy has to be loaded addtionally.
