I know ya'll have been just been waiting to hear about the m68k port! ;-) I still haven't completed a full install from scratch, with no work-arounds. However, I think all of the obstacles have been overcome.
kernels: if someone else hasn't gotten there first, I plan on looking at integrating 2.2 with linux-kernel-di and make sure the packaging is uniform between 2.2 and 2.4 m68k kernels. (I'd hate to mess with separate package lists.) hwdetect: I need to look through hwdetect and see if it needs to be 2.2 smarter or something. subarchs: I now am building amiga images, but haven't tested any yet. Atari and the vme's will have to wait until they have kernel-udebs and atari has an atari-fdisk udeb. bootloaders: Have to figure out how to package them, license issues, and such. Daily images may be found at <http://marenka.net/~stephen/di/boot/>. My base + d-i archive is at <http://marenka.net/~stephen/di/debian>. Base + d-i daily iso images may be found at <http://marenka.net/~stephen/di/cds>. marenka.net is my home dsl, so it's not all that speedy. These udebs will need to be uploaded to get all my current changes into the archive. base-installer_0.053 (bind mount workarounds) cdrom-detect_0.47 (check for previously mounted cdrom, bind mount) iso-scan_0.15 (bind mount) libdebian-installer_0.20 (scsi cd in mapdevfs) nobootloader_0.0.4 (2.2.x support) partconf_0.21 (2.2.x support, loopback mount skip) userdevfs_0.04 (large update) choose-mirror_0.31 (proxy support) is uploaded, but not built Stephen -- Stephen R.
