Yes, the powerpc 2.4.22 kernel has the security fixes. I plan to move to 2.4.24 in the near future, but the various linuxppc trees are a total mess, and nobody did tag the moment when it was 2.4.24, and not something else, so uptonow, i was only able to get 2MB+ patches out of bitkeeper. I also plan to move using the -benh linuxppc tree, in order to have more support for newer pmac hardware. Benh said he would do a proper 2.4.24 tag on his tree, and so i am waiting for this. I will add two power3 and power4 flavours too, for those arches. > - subarchitecture support for powerpc and m68k > > In progress. Actually, this may still happen for beta2/powerpc. Yeah, it is almost there, need a full round of testing though, and the addition of power3/4 based hardware. Didn't really test on pmac/G5 hardware though, no idea if work is needed for this one. Anyone has a G5 pmac handy ? Friendly, Sven Luther -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
