Hi, I'm new to debian (redhat user for years) and would like to install sarge for testing on my notebook.
I got the "Debian-Installer beta 2 released" as CD iso image. Burned the CD and rebooted my machine: Unfortunately, the 'Detecting hardware' process hangs with the following error message (at 95%). ---------------------------------------------------------------- Skipping unavailable module 'ide-floppy' for 'Linux IDE floppy' ---------------------------------------------------------------- System: DELL Inspiron 8000 Any Idea?
