It seems that there is no sane way to recover from typos etc in
base-config, short of breaking out with ctrl-c and starting over
(and this is not IMHO too clearly documented -- at least the ctrl-C
part is something I figured out by looking at the source).
Would it be too hard to provide a "back" button so you can go back and
redo the previous configuration step?
Barring that (or perhaps complementarily), would it be hard to provide
a single screen with a summary of all settings, where you could check
and optionally change things without going through the entire "wizard"
when only something minor needs to be fixed before you can finish the
install? (Or maybe just a menu, perhaps something like what the current
installer does.)
Finally, it would be nice to have a help function clearly visible,
where the ctrl-c feature and the instructions for rerunning
base-config later could be accessed at any point (especially towards
the end of the installation!)
