THis bug was opened and closed last year but never really got fixed.. apparently. Makes it difficult to do DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive Just how are we supposed to set timezone in the noninteractive ? /etc/timezone gets nuked by tzsetup. There is no clear 'db_set tzconfig/timezone' setting to set.. and tzsetup would never honour it anyway. Seems to me /root/debootstrap_settings is a good place to put it.
