What did you boot off? If network install, from where? Proxied? - > Installed from CDROM. The system would not boot from the CD so I had to use the sbm image to be able to do so. The keyboard setting is never asked. Some debconf questions are so big the choices are displayed in a one-line output, so the user might not realize there are several options. The network is configured fine. The system, however, does not have a proper network name. Now is called simply localhost. Nothing more I can think off. mooch -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux reypastor 2.4.21 #1 vie jun 13 22:28:10 CEST 2003 i686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Jesus Climent info:www.pumuki.org Unix SysAdm|Linux User #66350|Debian Developer|2.4.22|Helsinki Finland GPG: 1024D/86946D69 BB64 2339 1CAA 7064 E429 7E18 66FC 1D7F 8694 6D69 There are only two possible explanations: either no one told me,... or no one knows. --Neo (Matrix Reloaded) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
