Package: debian-installer Version: 20031109 I recently installed the current testing-1 which comes with the new debian-installer. At the very beginning of the installation process I've got asked for the language.
I did not really know if this question was about - the keyboard layout to be used - the messages of the installer itself - a locale setting for the whole new system The background is that I like german keyboard (de-latin1-nodeadkeys), but I like otherwise the english language throughtout the system, sometimes the german terms sound really silly and it's also not that good to post german error messages to international mailing lists.
