Howdy, I just tried installing sarge on a Intel P4, using an ISO I downloaded from ftp.hsn.hu, dated November 2, 2003, and I ran into a problem.
I got the same error messages as a few others have posted the past couple of weeks. When identifying my keyboard, I got a segmentation fault error. When running the udpkg program for various things, I got the error that it couldn't find the shared library libdebian-installer.so.4. So I went to another virtual console and looked in /lib and found libdebian-installer.so.3, but no libdebian-installer.so.4. I tried running the /usr/bin/udpkg program from this same shell and got the same missing shared library error. Doing a "find . | grep libdebian" in / only produced the libdebian-installer.so.3 file. I've also looked on the CD and couldn't find libdebian-installer.so.4. I am now in the process of downloading the CD via jigdo to see if the problem presists, which I suspect it might. --Craig -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
