Well, first the new packages have to go into the archive. But i agree with you, the proper way of doing this is : 1) Get the new packages into the archive 2) Fix linux-kernel-di and upload it 3) Remove the udeb packages with a new upload. We are blocked at 1) by the ftp-masters, and i have not yet heard of any of them. I wrote them though with the reason for my packaging though, so i hope i will at least get a reply or something hinting at what the reproach is. That said, there will by necessity be a moment when d-i is unbuildable, and that is between 1) and 2), altough i think that kernel-image-2.4.22-powerpc-pmac provide and replaces and conflicts with kernel-image-2.4.22-powerpc (<= 2.4.22-1) if i remember well, so if linux-kernel-di is able to handle that, it should be ok. Or we could fix it now, but have it check the version or something. Friendly, Sven Luther -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
