Package: modconf Version: 0.2.44 Severity: normal Hi... running "modconf --help" after having problems with it clued me in that there are probably some functions missing, notably:
write_it_down get_and_insmod >>> spike:/home/rames# modconf --help >>> /usr/sbin/modconf: line 95: write_it_down: command not found ...which makes the package unable (in my testing) to install a module. Oops. :^) I'm working from the Debian 3.0 netinst CD's, and running apt-get update ; apt-get upgrade indicates no new packages for modconf. I can understand that you guys are busy w/ real boot floppies, if you could reply (perhaps private mail?) and let me know if modconf is scheduled to remain in sarge, my bash-fu is pretty good, and I might be able to knock out some of the other bugs you've got. I'm not an official debian developer, so I might not be able to package / upload, but I can send patches! :^) email is ramses0 at yahoo.
