i have a via epia, and i recall needing the CONFIG_BLK_DEV_VIA82CXXX option turned on in my kernel. i also recall that this option wasn't available until late in the 2.4 kernel stream. you might confirm that this is turned on in your boot kernel. the config for a debian boot kernel is usually easy to find on the boot media. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
