Package: anna
Version: 0.012

When booting a cdrom144 debian-installer floppy with anna 0.012, it
segfaults with the following text:

  Choose Retriever

  Choose the retriever to use.
The retriever is responsible for fetching the packages to be installed.
gunzip: /var/cache/anna/Packages.gz: No such file or directory
  Segmentation fault
  postinst exited with status 35584

Before this point in the installation, cdrom-detect 0.03 ran
successfully and detected the CD-ROM.

An earlier version of anna (do not remember the version number) prints
the following:

  Choose Retriever

  Choose the retriever to use.
The retriever is responsible for fetching the packages to be installed.
  /usr/lib/debian-installer/retriever/cdrom-retriever Packages
    /var/cache/anna/Packages main
  /usr/lib/debian-installer/retriever/cdrom-retriever Packages
    /var/cache/anna/Packages local

The problem went away when I changed the CD to have a symlink from sid
-> woody. I suspect some part of anna is unable to handle a null
pointer, a missing file or some empty list.

Anyway, this problem is solved, and the bug can be closed.
