I got it working in 'make demo' by adding /lib/libslang.so.1-UTF8 to EXTRALIBS, I don't think I did any other magic (well, aside from rebuilding cdebconf), but I haven't tried it on a floppy. > This is because d-i uses discover for HW detection, and discover 1.5 > is currently only adapted for linux 2.2, not linux 2.4.
