Package: boot-floppies Version: 3.0.23-2002-05-21 Hi Folks,
I'm back on this. What is the status to modify the official Debian boot disks to have something working with the new Dell PowerEdge 2650? I curently receive many mails from 2650 users around the word (they found my reports with Google). I can not spend all my time to answer them. The best will be to have a working bf2.4 boot disk as soon as possible. To sumarize, we need: - Kernel 2.4.18 or later - AMI MegaRAID (for PERC3/DC) SCSI driver - NO sym53c416 SCSI driver (conflict!!!) - ServerWorks LE/HE support - ServerWorks OSB4/CSB5 chipsets support - bcm5700-source driver compiled in for Ethernet connection Let me know, Stef... .......................................................... .
