The debiandoc-sgml on www-master.debian.org, which is used for the doc-web build, is older and doesn't do the <link> thing, so there's no need to fix it. I believe you need to either downgrade or upgrade the debiandoc-sgml you use to build the docs; presumably you will upgrade :) Once you upgrade, you'll need to include the new -L option among the debiandoc2html options in the makefile; please notify me once you commit that (in case I don't notice myself) so that I can make arrangements for it to continue work on www-master. -- 2.
