Machine: Dell Venue 8 Pro 5855 Processor: Intel Atom x5-Z8550 Memory: 4GB Output of lspci -knn (or lspci -nn): Base System Installation Checklist: [O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it Initial boot: [O] Detect network card: [O] Configure network: [ ] Detect media: [O] Load installer modules: [O] Detect hard drives: [O] Partition hard drives: [O] Install base system: [O] Clock/timezone setup: [O] User/password setup: [O] Install tasks: [O] Install boot loader: [O] Overall install: [O] Comments/Problems: As most Cherry Trail devices it has 32bit EFI, so i used an old multi-arch install medium and only installed a text-only base system. Then i moved on dist-upgrading to trixie. The device needs non-free firmware to work properly. For sound to work i installed firmware-intel-sound. WAN, Wifi and bluetooth works. I installed phosh-tablet, screen rotation and touchscreen also work. Cameras do not work because Intel isp driver is not ready yet.
