Trying theme=dark, I'm getting the same banner, and that's perfectly normal at this point since it's just a symlink to the regular banner. I have no idea whether the current situation is OK, I just thought I'd open a bug so that shipping a specific banner could be considered. Screenshot attached. Note that I used RGB→indexed conversion to limit the file size, making sure the report wouldn't get lost in transit.
