Well, sure, my focus was on an RC bugfix.

Ideally someone from debian-boot@ would review/merge/upload those
changes but since that hasn't happened yet, I suppose a NMU would work.

xkeyboard-config's autopkgtest situation doesn't look like it's going to
be a speedy migration to testing, so I'm not sure you need to wait for
1.228 to migrate to testing; going to DELAYED route again might be nice
though, to have a chance for those to migrate to testing first, before
adding DEP-17 changes on top of them?
