In this bug report, I'm asked to provide /efi as a mount point for the EFI partition. Given that base-files does not even contain /boot/efi (the supposedly "old" location), I believe this is a decision for you to make, hence the reassign. [ I would be open to include /efi in base-files, but only if you consider necessary ]. Thanks.
