Package: flash-kernel Version: 3.107 Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: sascha-debian-bugs-flash-kernel-20230...@silbe.org
Dear Maintainer, I successfully tested flash-kernel on a BeagleBone AI-64 running Bookworm with the following entry in /etc/flash-kernel/db: === Begin === Machine: BeagleBoard.org BeagleBone AI-64 Kernel-Flavors: arm64 Boot-Script-Path: /boot/boot.scr DTB-Id: ti/k3-j721e-beagleboneai64.dtb U-Boot-Script-Name: bootscr.uboot-generic Required-Packages: u-boot-tools === End === The Device Tree for BeagleBone AI-64 landed upstream in Linux 6.2. Since Bookworm ships with 6.1 I copied to DTB to /etc/flash-kernel/dtbs. U-Boot support is still getting upstreamed but stock U-Boot on eMMC will boot a Debian installation from an SD card without any change to the configuration so we don't need to wait for U-Boot support to land and reach Debian before adding flash-kernel support.
