I'd rather not name and define something if we don't need to. What if we need or want to distinguish between loading files from the installation images and/or from external storage, etc. later on? People might already have written their preseed or whatever, and complain we're changing the meaning behind that setting. Things would be much different if we were actually asking a question (e.g. in expert mode). (And as you know from our meeting, I totally agree with the “case possibility” in the future. But I'd rather wait until we have new, reasonable use cases that we want to implement, before deciding on new names and semantics.)
