Hi Debian boot team,

I'm new to Debian and I switch from centos but I have seen this problem for now
several years and in several distributions even I think freebsd has it wrong
(in my opinion).

So I'm from Switzerland and I use a "Swiss Keyboard". We have people who are
talk and write in french and italian. There are also several people writing
rumantsch which is a little bit special.

When I see the keyboards layouts in the installer from
debian-10.8.0-amd64-netinst I see there that Debian has a "Schweizerisches
Französisch / Swiss French" and a "Schweizerdeutsch / Swiss German" keyboard
layout.

There is one problem with this: In Switzerland we only have 1 hardware keyboard
layout. Italian, German and French speaking people use this layout.

In short there is only one keyboard and this has to be called: Swiss = Schweiz

If a Swiss person is only writing in french and they don't write often german
so they will use the AZERTY keyboard which is the same as the French people are
using for example.

I will thank you for your responses and inputs. In my opinion this is a bug and
should be fixed even it just for the small Switzerland.

I have subscribed today for the mailing list and I hope everything worked fine.

Best Regards,

Marc Walter
