The bug has been cloned, however the new one is also closed already. So reopening. Additionally, I tested with tasksel 3.61 from testing, if this bug is still reproducible, and found that it is not! Everything worked fine there: I called "tasksel --new-install", got the selection menu, chose to additionally install ssh-server, and that worked fine. So updating the list of not-affected versions. Let's see what happens with future versions ...
