Hi with a UHD screen resolution on a thinkpad, using "Debian GNU/Linux buster-DI-alpha5 "Buster" - Official Snapshot amd64 DVD Binary-1 20190126-00:15" and trying the rescue mode after dracut killed my initrd, I got *tiny* fonts. Appears like 4pt or so sized. (The usual tiny size if something doesnt recognize UHD)
But the normal install option appears "large". Readable size. The workaround is to edit the install option and put rescue/enable=true as an option for the kernel, and one ends up with a useful rescue mode. This applies to both, textmode and graphical. As it loads the same kernel/initrd, I guess its something the installer itself is doing that needs to be copied over. -- bye, Joerg
