What are you actually after
Quite literally "A survey of boot process in Debian on i386 with Legacy
BIOS" ;} I just searched my old message threads and came across a reply
received in 2011 stating "You should first clarify what's what you have

the topic of that thread as being related to my current projectS {note
the plural}. Many of those treads would not have been begun if I had an
adequate understanding of the boot process.

In so much that I'll be using some existing udebs. I'm not so sure that
anyone using my "thingy" would identify it's roots as being the Debian
installer.
