I'm using "debian-8.7.1-amd64-DVD-1.iso" to install on an intel machine. Firstly I saw this "rtl8168e-3.fw" missing error. Then as instructed online, I skipped this since a USB disk with those firmware won't work. Then I got stuck at dpkg 12% with "installation". I tried several times and all failed. Then when I desperately tried "GUI installation", it worked like magic... I don't recall any change but some escape during time zone setup. But anyway, I seriously doubt it's related to realtek driver. Please fix it.
