Well, what terminal are you actually using on the serial port? Is it really vt102-compatible? Perhaps we should ship a vt102 terminfo with less capabilities or even another dumber term entry to be used by default over serial? > Both issues did not exist with previous versions of debian-installer, Yes, they were using fewer features of vt102.
