Machine: qemu VM Processor: ppc64el Memory: 4Gb Partitions: /dev/sda1 7.3 MB PowerPC PReP boot partition /dev/sda2 6.6 GB ext4 /dev/sda3 4.2 GB swap Initial boot: [O] Detect network card: [O] Configure network: [O] Detect CD: [O] Load installer modules: [O] Detect hard drives: [O] Partition hard drives: [O] Install base system: [O] Clock/timezone setup: [O] User/password setup: [O] Install tasks: [O] Install boot loader: [O] Overall install: [O] Comments/Problems: Using qemu, I created a ppc64el virtual machine. I selected the guided partitioning to use the entire disk (all the default options). The installation went well but it failed to boot then. I got the same on P8 PowerVM and P8 baremetal.
