Package: task-xfce-desktop Version: 3.39 Severity: wishlist Hi! Currently, the XFCE task pulls in evince, whose interface is really out of place outside of Gnome. It'd be far better to install atril instead (from Mate) -- it blends in with XFCE seamlessly. It also doesn't suffer from a number of weird decisions taken by the Gnome project that make the user interface really inconsistent with XFCE components.
Atril is a fork of Evince, so base functionality is the same. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.5+ (SMP w/6 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init)
