OK. So just to complete the report: With just "vgahw" and "shadow": libshadow now loads OK, and the next error is: [ 5933.945] (EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/openchrome_drv.so: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/openchrome_drv.so: undefined symbol: exaWaitSync Next, add "exa". Now I get: [ 6218.682] (EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/openchrome_drv.so: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/openchrome_drv.so: undefined symbol: fbScreenInit If I add "fb", the openchrome_drv loads fine. Thus the following seems to work for me: Section "Module" Load "vgahw" Load "shadow" Load "exa" Load "fb" EndSection -- Tzafrir Cohen | tzaf...@jabber.org | VIM is http://tzafrir.org.il | | a Mutt's tzaf...@cohens.org.il | | best tzaf...@debian.org | | friend
