Thanks for your report. Can you please attach your installer's sylog file (maybe compressed) in a group-reply? It can be found under the /var/log/installer directory. > /proc/bus/input/devices: I: Bus=0011 Vendor=0002 Product=0007 Version=01b1 > /proc/bus/input/devices: N: Name="SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad" > /proc/bus/input/devices: P: Phys=isa0060/serio1/input0 > /proc/bus/input/devices: S: Sysfs=/devices/platform/i8042/serio1/input/input2 > /proc/bus/input/devices: U: Uniq= > /proc/bus/input/devices: H: Handlers=mouse0 event3 > /proc/bus/input/devices: B: PROP=9 > /proc/bus/input/devices: B: EV=b > /proc/bus/input/devices: B: KEY=6420 30000 0 0 0 0 > /proc/bus/input/devices: B: ABS=260800011000003 I would expect a synaptics touchpad to get at least basic support with evdev, and maybe there's a bug somwhere to be fixed. But maybe I'm out of sync with reality. :) Also, wondering whether it would make sense to maybe have a synaptics udeb at some point? Or maybe libinput will save us all? Putting -x@ in cc for input (no pun intended). KiBi.
