I successfully installed stretch at the end of December on NVMe. So yes the fixes that were done for stretch worked. grub installed with no problem. So my test was shortly after Bug 799119 was fixed in grub-installer 1.128. I specifically tried it to check since I was putting together a machine with the right hardware to test it even though that machine was actually going to run windows 10. -- Len Sorensen
