Wrong. my bad. no bug. Details ------- Wanting an automatic, unattended install, it has been my practice (through squeeze and wheezy) to _replace_ the 'default' file after installing netboot.tar.gz srv/tftp/debian-installer/amd64/pxelinux.cfg/default When looking for reasons for the boot failure, I forgot to consider that replacement. Using a 'default' file written according to the specs for syslinux version 6.03, I get an automated, unattended, preseeded install. Sorry for the noise. Regards, Douglas.
