I'll avoid commenting on needing/wanting KDE while being a non-technical user. ;) > Some remarks: > > - In the past I usually installed using wired network, but decided to > give the wireless installation a go. d-i correctly detected the > missing iwlwifi firmware. I doubt we'll change anything in templates at this point (strings need to be translated), but we already have: https://www.debian.org/releases/testing/amd64/ch02s02.html https://www.debian.org/releases/testing/amd64/ch06s04.html so I'm not sure pointing to another page would be a great idea. If the installation guide isn't fine enough, we should improve it. (Also Moin² pretends this page doesn't exist.) One of the blockers for D-I Jessie RC3 is in the firmware area anyway and I'll be working on it this week, maybe there's an easy way to improve feedback for users. > - One line was only displayed partly, I filed a bug against > partman-crypto (782571) I'll have a look, thanks. > - The touchpad on the X250 needs a backport from Linux 4.0, but > there's already a kernel bug/patch on that. OK, great. Mraw, KiBi.
