I have tried to do an identical install using (graphical) expert mode this time, leaving initrd on 'generic'. This results in the same problem:
[ 0.000000 ] tsc: Fast TSC calibration failed Loading, please wait... Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems: <blah> ALERT! /dev/mapper/sda3_crypt does not exist. Dropping to a shell! modprobe: module ehci-orion not found in modules.dep <busybox output> /bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off (initramfs) I notice that the initial complaint about ehci-orion not being found isn't there, but otherwise it's identical. Again, no cryptsetup installed into initrd. @maintainer - thoughts? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
