I retried this today with XFS and ext4, the former failed very early at bootstrapping the base system, the latter failed at setting up the kernel, towards the end of the process. It is also kind of strange, that 'lastlog' and 'faillog' consist of zeros only. No matter how much I google, installing fails, this would really make me desperate, if I would not have more than enough running installations of Jessie already, that all receive lots of updates and worked well enough until today. This is the image, I tried: http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/weekly-builds/amd64/iso-cd/debian-testing-amd64-netinst.iso One attachment: [dpkg.log.gz] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iEYEARECAAYFAlQ1EGAACgkQ5+rBHyUt5wspaACfe875Xm6Szk/zSI0Pg2rkNIP0 UNcAn3xlzqWQ7aGA9Xb1Yr6EOU+NSz9T =iKJP -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
