Package: boot-floppies Version: 3.0.18-2001-12-21, downloaded from the Debian archive Severity: normal
With a monochrome monitor the current implementation of the progress bar is useless since it keeps shown as it was shown on the beginning of the process. That is, it keep shows that the process has not been started (or, if you like, has ended). All of the above happen without giving the mono boot option. Then I was advised to use the mono boot option. However with this option there was no indication of which line is currently selected. That is, none of the lines had a black background and there was no indication for pressing the arrow keys. Therefore I gave up trying to get the installation processes where a progress bar is shown. -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Kernel Version: Linux rakefet 2.2.20 #1 Fri Jan 4 05:54:04 IST 2002 i586 unknown -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
