Hello, IMHO we should disable the vga16 framebuffer in the default configuration if the user choosed a latin1 language. Reason: you cannot unload this driver at runtime, so you cannot load another one, for example an accelerated driver for Matrox. Since base-config currently does not make any use of the language (correct me if I am wrong), is there anything speaking against it?
