Sorry for not commenting on the bug but we did start a discussion within the multimedia team on wether we want to pursue this or not. Unfortunately, there seems to not be enough manpower to actually prepare a reasonable set of tasks. We did discuss what would be desirable, but nobody actually stepped up and offered to do the job.
