I have thought two things to solve this.

I don't want to change the default behaviour of wrapping in nano as it's
not easily configurable in 1.0 (you can deal with it with a nanorc file
in nano 1.1), so I thought of just changing the behaviour detecting it's
apt-setup (or debconf) what is executing it.
Is there any environment variable always present when apt-setup is run
that I could check in nano, or any other way of checking this?

If not, would checking for uid == 0 and if it is, do no wrapping be ok?
