Machine: Dell Inspiron 1525 Processor: intel core 2 duo Memory: 4 GB Partitions: Existing Debian Wheezy installed using entire disk, guided partitioning, all in one partition Base System Installation Checklist: [O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it Initial boot: [0] Detect network card: [0] Configure network: [0] Detect CD: [0] Load installer modules: [0] Detect hard drives: [0] Partition hard drives: [E] Install base system: [ ] Clock/timezone setup: [ ] User/password setup: [ ] Install tasks: [ ] Install boot loader: [ ] Overall install: [E] Comments/Problems: The installer hangs at "guided partitioning, computing the new partitions" (80% of the partitioning process). I am using the guided lvm (unencrypted) to install all the system in one partition and use the entire disk, over an existing debian wheezy installation. The problem doesn't happen if I do the same process but on an unpartitionned HDD. The last line of the console (F4) shows "WARNING swap signature detected on /dev/computername-vg/swap_1. Wipe it? [y/n] Everything else looks OK. Thank you, Olivier -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
