During a rebuild of all Debian packages in a clean sid chroot (using cowbuilder and pbuilder) the build failed with the following error. [...] sha256sum: debian-installer_20130613+deb7u2+b1_amd64.deb.sha256sum: no properly formatted SHA256 checksum lines found debian/rules:18: recipe for target 'get-images-amd64' failed The reason lies here: - The code fetches http://mirror.lchost.net/debian/dists/wheezy-proposed-updates/main/binary-amd64/Packages.gz - Checks, unpacks, eventually ends up as amd64.Packages - `grep-dctrl -P debian-installer -X -s Sha256 amd64.Packages` returns nothing So debian-installer simply doesn't exist in wheezy-proposed-updates. I'm leaving the severity of this bug report untouched as this may all be well known? Best, Michael
