I think there were some problems with network configuration, because when it was time to install the system, whatever mirror I choose, the installer gave me the message that mirrors couldn't be reached, and that updates were not available. By the way, installation ended up almost fine, since in the end the installer downloaded all the packages needed to have a working system, and even the desktop environment. Grub installation went fine, but when booting up to the newly installed system, after apt-get update I got a 404 impossible to fetch error message for every source in apt-get sources list. Eventually I found an older netinstall image and performed another installation on the same pc that went perfectly fine, and in which apt-get update worked well.

Thanks for your report. Since there's no specific issues to be fixed (there might have been a glitch in apt-setup or something similar, but I haven't heard about such an issue since then), I'm closing this report.
