[ Hello Keith & Joss, question for you below. ] Cyril Brulebois <k...@debian.org> (2014-02-15): > In the integrated d-i shell, the monospace font is broken since the last > post-wheezy upload (see version above), and there's an extra vertical > scrollbar on the right. di-utils-shell changed (a lot) but downgrading it to the version 20130430 was built against changes nothing. Relevant fonts-* and ttf-* didn't change. fontconfig-udeb was bumped from 2.9.0-7.1 to 2.10.2-2 (between 20130430 and 20131014), and rebuilding an image using 2.9.0-7.1 versioned as 1:2.9.0-7.1 under localudebs/ restores both the monospaced font and the absence of an extra vertical scroll bar. @Keith & Joss: I see nothing obvious in both those changelog entries which would explain why fontconfig would make a difference as to picking up the right font: http://packages.qa.debian.org/f/fontconfig/news/20130625T211845Z.html http://packages.qa.debian.org/f/fontconfig/news/20130626T190407Z.html Any hints? (no pun intended) Mraw, KiBi.
