i am suspecting it a a python problem. i know nothing of python. i even
replaced the ``./ver2.py $(LANG_GEN_FLAG) $(architecture) langs.xml''
with ``./pl.py i386 $<'' in utilities/dbootstrap/langs/Makefile to no
avail (same type of error)
