Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal
As stated by Martin Michlmayr in debian-boot: ========================================================== I just removed support for Cobalt devices from the installer as these devices are extremely old now and there are problems with the boot loader. We still have partman-ext2r0. This package was created to generate a revision 0 ext2 filesystem, which is required to boot on 2 systems: Netwinder (ARM) and Cobalt (MIPS). Neither Netwinder nor Cobalt devices are supported by the installer anymore, so I suggest we remove partman-ext2r0. Any objections? ========================================================== As a consequence, the partman-ext2r0 package that only produces udeb packages for D-I can be safely removed from unstable and testing. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
