parted says:
/dev/sda contains GPT signatures, indicating that it has a GPT table.
However, it does not have a valid fake msdos partition table, as it
should. Perhaps it was corrupted.

I am going to follow this to fix my GPT table:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+question/205331

However, Linux can still tell the partitions. I am wondering why it
isn't a valid GPT table. Should I dd the
header of the hard drive?
