Hi, FWIW the Linux i386 graphical installer under QEMU still fails to start Xorg; it doesn't look like it even tries to launch it, but complains it "cannot open display" or similar. Although kfreebsd-amd64 is fine.
If I manually start Xorg it appears to start normally, except the display remains suspiciously blank with no visible cursor (which I guess should be shown even if there are no X clients?).
