Package: debian-installer Version: Jessie Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I did a clean install using the netboot.tar.gz +pxe method, selecting the XFCE desktop environment. But when the machine booted, it presented a Gnome desktop environment. I expected to see XFCE.
XFCE is present, and I was able to modify /etc/lighdm.conf to make it be the default. However, I expected it to be this way out of the box, and for gnome not to be installed at all. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.9-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
